Principal

Dr Adrian Johnson

BSc (Hons), DipEd, PhD, MACE, MACEL, GAICD

Dr Adrian Johnson was appointed Principal of Trinity Anglican College in 2022. Previously, he was Deputy Principal - Head of Secondary School at Radford College, Canberra, for 4 years. Prior to that time, Adrian held leadership roles within schools both in Australia and the United Kingdom, spanning over 35 years.

His career has been dedicated to learning alongside young people and staff. The fulfilment of a lifelong calling has been the witnessing and celebrating of young people’s achievements and supporting their personal growth. 

“Through my leadership of senior teams, I hope to develop in staff a commitment to working with the young people in our care – living the Lord’s Gospel every day.  I believe, we need to gauge our success through the sense of achievement realised by our students.”

Kathy Fletcher

BEd (Hons), Med, GradCertMath, GradCertCDev

Appointed to her position as Deputy Principal in 2021, Kathy has been a continuing staff member of Trinity Anglican College team since 2004 with prior positions at Leeton High School and a London school.

With a teaching career traversing over 23 years, Mrs Kathy Fletcher has held numerous leadership roles including Head of Sport, Head of PDHPE, Head of Mathematics, Carers Advisor and Dean of Teaching and Learning. Weaving through all these positions, Kathy has demonstrated a strong capacity to build dynamic teams that unify and engage the College community.

Passionate about creating an environment where staff and students are connected and engaged; Kathy is also driven by the opportunities educators possess to inspire and empower students to discover and realise their full potential.

Business Manager

Sharon Finlay

 

BBus, CPA

Sharon is an experienced financial leader, with over 35 years in Finance and a respected catalogue of senior management and leadership roles in the utilities and health industries.  Joining the College in 2020, Sharon provides professional oversight and leadership of financial and operational requirements, including Finance, Business Planning, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Capital Projects, ICT and Facilities functions. 

Sharon has strong technical financial expertise and is passionate about strengthening the financial management framework, strategic decision-making, business partnering, and process improvements.  Sharon and her teams support the College in achieving financial well-being and in the provision of resources to support teaching and learning.

Sharon is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, with minors in Economics and Business Law.

Head of Senior School

David Smith

BEd (Hons)

Originally from England, Mr David Smith studied education with a major in Health and Physical Education (PE). He has positively contributed to various schools, first in England, and more recently Albury Wodonga through various roles including Head of PE, Director of Sport as well as representing colleagues on a school board.

Through these roles, and 30 years of experience to draw from, David actively supports our young people to develop and thrive, providing them with the tools to be ready for the world ahead of them.

Simon Fairall

BEd (Primary)

Previously working in the Catholic and Department Education sectors, Mr Simon Fairall joined the Trinity Anglican College team in 2005. Having held numerous leadership and development roles within the College, Simon has been instrumental in driving the College to its current success.

By cultivating a caring atmosphere, guiding students and staff to find their strengths and passions, and building positive relationships, Mr Fairall enables students and staff to thrive in a flourishing school environment.

His passion for student development through effective teaching methods and pedagogical approaches extends further than Trinity students with Simon providing workshop lecture support at Charles Sturt University in the Education faculty.

Dean of Studies - Senior School

Stephanie Davis

MEd(EdLead), BBus(Mktg), GradDip (Ed)

Ms Stephanie Davis commenced at Trinity Anglican College in 2023 after teaching at Catholic College Wodonga and Victory Lutheran College in various roles including Director of Learning - Senior School and Senior School Team Leader.

In addition to her 17 years of teaching experience at Catholic College Wodonga and Victory Lutheran College in various roles (Director of Learning - Senior School and Senior School Team Leader), Ms Davis enjoyed a successful corporate career in marketing, public relations, and event management.

Drawing on skills gained from both industries including partnership building, leadership, data interpreting to inform decisions and fostering environments that facilitate collective efficacy, Ms Davis is well placed to oversee curriculum, assessment, and reporting in Years 7-12 and has already positively contributed to the continuing success of our students.

Dean of Studies - Junior School

Lauren Naldrett

BN, MT

Previously working in the Catholic Education system, Mrs Lauren Naldrett Joined Trinity in 2015, bringing extensive experience in primary, secondary and special education to her various appointment in the College including Mathematics Coordinator (Junior School) and Acting Assistant Head of Junior School. 

Mrs Naldrett’s continual training in Mathematics interventions, instructional coaching, and educational leadership aligns with her focused on applying evidence-based teaching practices to cultivate a positive and rich academic environment in which students can flourish.

With her extensive experience and her passion for fostering the growth students and educators, Lauren was perfectly places to fulfil the role of Dean of Studies Junior School in 2023.

Dean of Activities

Jarrod Monaghan

BEd (PhyEd)

Joining Trinity Anglican College in 2018 (originally as Head of PDHPE), Mr Monoaghan has had a diverse teaching background which has included Physical and Outdoor Education as well as extensive experience in sports coaching and co-curricular activities.

In the past, Jarrod has played a significant role coaching multiple national championship athletic teams, developing and coaching competitive Victorian Surf Lifesaving teams, and a winning secondary volleyball team at the Mekong International Schools Association Championships.

His varied experience has proved invaluable in his role as Dean of Activities which is tasks to develop and maintain positive relationships with other schools, associations and community organisations in an effort to broaden our students’ experience and perspectives.

As Dean of Activities, Jarrod believes in the power of student belonging and actively contributes to provide holistic education to our students by creating enriching connections for students in and through school co-curricular opportunities.
