We are excited to announce Trinity Towards Tomorrow - a building program for our campus that has been developed to support our student-centred programs over the coming years.
In August 2022, we commenced a formal planning application process for the extension of our current campus on Elizabeth Mitchel Drive, in Thurgoona, with community consultation beginning in the coming weeks.
This exciting development includes brand new state-of-the-art facilities including:
Somerset Rise will remain an important part of the Trinity Towards Tomorrow Master Plan and will be retained for future development. This site offers the opportunity for exciting potential future uses including an environmental precinct with complementary integration of an Early Learning Centre, sporting facilities and playing fields.
The new Trinity Towards Tomorrow Master Plan seeks to maximise learning for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Locating the facilities within one precinct offered exciting new opportunities for all students to experience new learning spaces and easily share existing spaces.
The physical site of the campus provides Trinity students with a sense of place. These extensions will ensure the entire College benefits by further enhancing the educational and co-curricular offerings while ensuring staff and students are provided with the best resources possible.
Supporting a project of this scale requires a multitude of considerations and phases, and Trinity worked closely with their governing body, the Anglican Schools Commission, and Albury City Council as the Development Application was submitted.
We look forward to keeping you updated as this project commences.
“Great things already happen here at Trinity, and this exciting expansion project on the Trinity campus will create a modern, efficient and engaging learning environment to enable us to raise the bar even higher. It’s certainly going to be an exciting few years at Trinity as we see the developments take shape.”
