Preschool Development
We are excited to announce plans for a new purpose-built preschool, following the successful approval of $1.55 million in funding through the NSW State Government Block Grant Authority.
The funding will support the development of an 80-place preschool for children in the year before they commence Kindergarten, further strengthening the College's commitment to providing quality education from the earliest years through to Year 12.
The College is currently working alongside project managers, Tomahawk Property, to progress the development, with the appointment of a builder anticipated before the end of this year.
Subject to the necessary approvals from AlburyCity, the preschool will be located on the north-east corner of the College's Somerset Rise site, at the intersection of Elizabeth Mitchell Drive and Stanton Drive. Construction is expected to commence during 2027, with the preschool planned to open in 2028.
In a nod to Trinity's history and traditions, the new preschool will be known as Trinity Little Tackers.
Principal Dr Adrian Johnson said the project represents an exciting milestone for both the College and the wider community.
"This is a significant investment in the future of education in our region and reflects Trinity's ongoing commitment to supporting local families from the very beginning of their child's educational journey," Dr Johnson said.
"We are delighted to be able to expand our educational offering and create a purpose-built learning environment that will provide children with the very best start to their school years."
The new preschool is part of Trinity's long-term vision to meet the growing educational needs of the region while continuing to provide exceptional learning opportunities for students at every stage of their education.
The College looks forward to sharing further updates with the community as the project progresses.
